  • Bachelor's degree, preferably with a business or HR major, or paralegal certification required
  • Minimum five years of experience in HR and/or EEO/Wage & Hour compliance or an equivalent combination of post-graduate education and experience; experience in preparing position statements and/or responding to governmental investigations and complaints and experience in participating in relevant mediation process required
  • Successful completion of annual store training
  • Ability to demonstrate, and teach Panda's Mission, Values, and Culture
  • Strong knowledge of legal concepts and terminology related to employment discrimination, wage and hour laws, and related areas
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal employment and employee benefit laws, including Title VII, ADA, FLSA, ERISA, ADEA, FMLA, and OSHA
  • Knowledge of HR processes and practices
  • Knowledge of the business and culture
  • Familiarity with store operations
