What You'll Do As a Regional Director of Operations:

You are in charge of overseeing Panda Express Alternative Concept Raising Cane’s operations across multiple stores within Hawaii, Alaska, and Guam, based in Honolulu.  This includes directing and inspiring Area Coaches and store team members to achieve exceptional People, Guest, and Financial results. You are fully accountable for all stores within your region, including new store growth, revenue and sales growth, profitability, and human capital management. It's up to you to make your region a success.  Don’t worry! To prepare you for success, we will provide comprehensive training and ongoing support.

Your Impact and Responsibilities:

Restaurant Support:

  • Lead and inspire all store team members to deliver best-in-class operations.
  • Identify areas of opportunity, hold accountability, and celebrate successes in the stores.
  • Ensure store activities and operations align with Raising Cane's vision, mission, and core values.

Business Unit Team Support:

  • Lead and develop the leadership team to support Raising Cane’s company store needs and growth plans.
  • Identify current needs and gaps to direct support from the Business Unit team to achieve desired results.
  • Oversee regional training, marketing, recruiting, and facilities support to assist and enhance store performance.

RSO and Functional Crew Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with functional leaders to hire and manage top talent for the Regional & Area Business Unit teams.
  • Provide insight and feedback on the effectiveness of store programs, systems, and tools.
  • Drive and execute the introduction of new operational concepts, food products, equipment, and technology.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum six years of experience in the restaurant industry with multi-unit leadership experience.
  • Serve Safe certified.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing.
  • Excellence in organizational management with the ability to coach & develop senior leaders.
  • Strong decision-making capabilities and able to deliver within tight deadlines.
  • Self-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaboratively.
  • Action and results-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and data-driven results.
  • Able to work a varied schedule related to business needs, including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Required to live within the assigned region and ability to travel as needed.
  • Microsoft Proficient: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license.

Regional Director of Operations Pay Range: $115,000 - $145,000

ADA Statement:

While performing duties, counter areas are often hot with steam from the steam table and food vapors. Workspace is restricted, and employees are generally expected to remain standing for long periods of time. Employees must prepare hot and cold foods, use Chinese cook knives and other kitchen equipment, and work quickly without losing accuracy. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand up to four hours, and reach across countertops measured at 36 inches to serve customers. Kitchens are hot, and noise levels are usually high; storage space is limited, and shelving is high. Employees must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment, have effective verbal communication skills, the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment with changing priorities, and the ability to manage conflicts/difficult situations.
